To maintain GMP standards, employees must follow strict hygiene and operational protocols, including:
Personal Hygiene
Wash hands:
Before starting work
After breaks or meals
After handling waste or unhygienic materials
After using the restroom
Anytime there is a risk of contamination
Wear clean, hygienic clothing appropriate for the production area
Maintain personal cleanliness at all times
No loose, fuzzy, or sleeveless clothing is allowed
Fingernails must be kept short, clean, and unpolished
If nail polish is used, gloves must be worn
Use hairnets and beard nets at all times in production areas
No jewelry is allowed during food handling or while working in the plant
